Many people ask me for recommendations for good restaurants in Turin serving piedmontese cuisine. I would like to point out that Piedmontese cuisine is so good that you can eat well almost everywhere. Moreover, Turin is not an overly touristy city where you find restaurants catering only to tourists. This list comes from my personal experience, but feel free to explore on your own, you won’t be disappointed.

Osto del Borgh Vej, on the charming Piazzetta IV Marzo, with a lovely terrace in good weather. Traditional Piedmontese cuisine with a modern twist.

Le Tre Galline, in the Roman Quarter. Tradition in a historic atmosphere.

Il Consorzio, Via Monte di Pietà 23. Good food, good wines, excellent cheeses. The menu includes several Slow Food Presidium products.

Pastificio De Filippis, Via Lagrange 39. Fresh homemade pasta, and more.

Ristorante del Circolo dei Lettori, in the beautiful Baroque Palazzo Graneri della Roccia, Via Bogino 9. Chef Stefano Fanti continuously reinterprets Piedmontese cuisine.

Monferrato, in the new charming pedestrian street Via Monferrato. Piedmontese cuisine at the foot of the hills.

Solferino, on the elegant Piazza Solferino. Traditional cuisine served with refinement.
