These longer experiences allow us to explore specific themes in greater depth, make connections between history, art and culture, and enjoy our time together.
In these Special Tours, I will draw on my background as an art historian and on my personal connection with Turin, the city where I was born and grew up. Alongside history and art, I will share my experience of living through Turin’s remarkable transformation over the past 25 years, as well as personal memories and stories from my family.

Coffee breaks and, in the full-day Turin tour, food tastings are part of the experience, creating moments to pause, explore certain topics in greater depth and continue our conversation in a relaxed setting.

EGYPTIAN MUSEUM SPECIAL TOUR
INSIDE ANCIENT EGYPT:
An in-depth journey through the Egyptian Museum

Duration: 4 hours · Coffee break included

This four-hour experience is designed for those with a particular interest in Ancient Egypt and its fascinating civilisation.
We will use the museum’s extraordinary collection to explore what can these objects tell us about the people who created and used them.
We will explore different aspects of Egyptian civilisation: beliefs about death and the afterlife, daily life, religion, the organisation of the State, the lives and ambitions of great pharaohs, warfare and military power, as well as the techniques used to create extraordinary works of art and everyday objects.
The aim is to reconstruct the world behind the exhibits and discover how Egyptian society worked, thought, lived and imagined eternity.

A coffee break is included, giving us the opportunity to explore certain topics in greater depth and continue our conversation comfortably over a cup of coffee.

ROYAL PALACE & ROYAL MUSEUMS SPECIAL TOUR
INSIDE THE HOUSE OF SAVOY:
Art, power and dynasty at the Royal Museums

Duration: 4 hours · Coffee break included

For centuries, the history of Turin was inseparable from that of the House of Savoy. This extended tour of the Royal Museums offers the opportunity to discover that story through the places, artworks and collections created by the dynasty.

We will explore the Royal Palace, the Royal Armoury, the Chapel of the Holy Shroud, the Savoy art collections in the Galleria Sabauda, selected highlights of the Archaeological Museum, the Royal Library and the Cathedral of Turin.

During four hours, we will follow the development of the House of Savoy and of Turin itself, meet some of the key figures of the dynasty and discover how architecture, painting, collecting and ceremonial spaces became instruments of political representation.
The Royal Armoury will introduce us to the military culture of a dynasty whose history was deeply connected with warfare, diplomacy and territorial expansion, while the archaeological collections will take us even further back, to the earliest chapters in the history of Turin.

TURIN & GASTRONOMY SPECIAL TOUR
INSIDE TURIN THROUGH THE EYES OF A LOCAL:
A full-day journey through the many souls of the city

Duration: 7 hours · Food tastings included

This seven-hour tour is an invitation to discover Turin in depth: its history and monuments, but also its changing atmospheres, neighbourhoods, flavours and contemporary character.

The itinerary is designed as a journey through the different souls of Turin. We will see how architecture, history, cafés, streets, squares and everyday life tell different chapters of the same city.
And because Turin’s food culture is an important part of its identity, the experience will include several tasting stops, introducing some of the flavours and traditions connected with the city.

Despite its seven-hour duration, the tour will alternate walking and storytelling with stops, tastings and time to enjoy the discovery.

It is designed for those who want to spend a day with a Turin-born art historian and official tour guide, experiencing the city in depth through the eyes of a local.
